Now Open! 2013 Nature's Best Photography Windland-smith Rice Competition

Now Open! 2013 Nature's Best Photography Windland-Smith Rice International Awards Competition 2013

FAA has some outstanding nature photographers who have a real shot at winning or placing in this competition. There are lots of different categories ... something for everyone -- landscapes, oceans, macro, wildlife, people in nature, etc. Be sure to check it out. The winners and even the runners up, I believe, all get their work displayed in an exhibit at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC. They usually select a pro, amateur and youth winner and runnerup in each category. The exhibit I attended in DC years ago when I lived there was spectacular. It got a lot of visitors too ... all potential buyers.

Make sure you read ALL of the rules; Interesting and I'm sure there are those that will take it up. My problem with it - I don't keep records of what I shoot at - and wouldn't remember five minutes later if I did. Nature shooting for me is usually from the hip while walking/hiking - seldom a set up and record keeping. would be nice though.
