Arranging Images

I read the instructions on how to re-arrange images by mousing over the image and a small number will come up - but all I get (instead of a number) is the title of the piece and my name. Is there another way to move the images around?

Hiya Ursula,

You have to click on 'profile' and you will see the position right under your image.

BTW I love your art.

Hi, Ursula. :-) Assuming you're already signed in:

To reorder ALL images, from your portfolio/profile page --

Click 'Images' tab, then click 'Position' button under each image and choose a number.

To reorder within your individual galleries, from your portfolio/profile page --

Click 'Galleries' tab, then click the 'Edit' button beneath any gallery logo, then use the 'Position' buttons to choose order.

Hope this helps!

Philip, instead of 'Behind the Scenes' after you have signed in, click on profile. You will see position under your images.

Harold and Wendy,

I really appreciate your help. Am new at this and I have tried for hours without success.

When in your profile, you have to click "Postition" under each image you want moved, and choose a number from the drop down menu.

The number equals where it falls in line with other images.
Postition 0 is the first image, and it goes up from there.

Its not a great system, especially if you have thousands of images, but that's why most people arrange there work into galleries and have the galleries tab as their default view. That way its easier for the buyer to browse your work based on the subjects of the galleries.

Hi Heather, I can see why this may help. I have not figured out which images to place into what galleries. But I am thinking about it.
Thanks!

Philip, no, just when uploaded.
