Recommended Pixel Dimensions Of Profile Pic?

Creetings FAA community - new member and first time logged in here. I'm in the process of setting up my account and I've encountered a minor problem. Could somebody please tell me the best size profile pic to use as I'm either overlooking the information or it's not posted. Appreciate your help in advance; hope everyone has fantastic art sales in 2013!!

whatever it is you choose, aim for something where your face isn't going to be cropped off as a square. there are so many with their head cut right off.

Jeff, 200px x 200px will give you the optimum size and cropping. Welcome to FAA!

Beth, Heather is correct, I was referring to the profile pic itself. Some sites have specific requirements for size, eg. Etsy is 75 pix x 75 pix - file size is a mere 18kb. I was just wondering if there is a standard size so I dont attempt an upload that is either too large or small.

Thanks Heather.

I don't think there are specific dimensions - I don't remember fixing mine to fit any. If yours isn't uploading it probably just needs to be made smaller - under 5mb or something.

Beth - he's asking about the profile pic, not the regular uploads

You should upload the largest images you have without enlarging them. Whilst staying under our 25mb limit
Best quality
aRGB or sRGB

Always zoom into your work at 100% using your graphic programme to check the quality, looking to remove blurriness or pixellation of any kind
