Thelma Fanstone Haffner
I was born in Anapolis, Goias, Brazil. Since a very young age, my Art studies included sketching, charcoal, pastel and oil on canvas. I started playing the piano at the age of eight.
I left Brazil at the age of twenty and lived in England for three years, where I obtained the grade of Advanced Level on Art at Brighton College through the University of London. I also obtained the First Certificate in English at St. Giles College through the University of Cambridge.
Following that time, I spent four months in France, where I had some awesome experiences painting under the great light of southern France. In 1992 I moved to America where I live today. I studied drawing, composition and oil painting at Truman College in Chicago.
I Currently teach art to children in my home, I am a house wife, mother of two. I am also a musician composer, pianist, and writer.
My dreams are one day to be financially wealthy and be able to help numerous poor kids who surround my city and many parts of my country, Brazil.
I also wish my Artwork would transmit peace and comfort to those who are suffering.
My inspiration comes from God, I always pray and ask Him to empower my hands for a wonderful artwork, I believe He has great plans and a reason for my successful future in the Art Field.
