I've had an interest in photography ever since I can remember; I'm rarely found without my camera. When not taking photos, I will most likely be in front of a canvas. I'm passionate about bringing my orginal photographs to life on a canvas.
I grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee and attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville on full scholarship. I worked for years as a professional model, while also working in advertising. I have traveled extensively to Paris France; Italy; Spain; Brussels Belgium; and Africa, which afforded me a greater appreciation of the arts.
Life took me to Los Angeles, California where I lived for many years, however, my southern roots pulled me back to the South to be closer to my family and friends. After leaving California I moved back to Atlanta, Georgia, and worked in property management software training, working for the 'world's greatest boss', Larry Duncan. My corporate office was based in Dallas,Texas and I traveled throughout the US training upper management and staff. Presently, I work in the mortgage business and create art in my home studio. Adding to my artistic abilities I'm also a self-taught pianist.
My paintings and photographs are owned by many, and have been featured in international art groups. Many of my paintings were commissioned and adorned the walls of an Atlanta conservatory. I work in a variety of materials such as acrylic, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, as well as photography. All of my works are original outputs of my imagination. Depending on my mood and whim, I work within many different styles of abstract art. My love of photography has added even more creative stimulus providing an unlimited source of landscapes, lighting nuances, and people for added creative inspiration.
