Although I have studied with a number of well known artists and have taken classes in drawing and painting at the Atlanta College of Art (now, SCAD, Atlanta) and Emory University, I am basically self-taught. While a class can introduce you to a variety of styles and techniques, it is only through trial and error that you learn to apply those techniques and develop your own style.
