Raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana and currently living in Indianapolis, Steve Archbold is a self-taught photographer. His first camera was a Ricoh Singlex with 50mm and 135mm lenses. He purchased the rig for $150 in 1972 from a fella in Brooklyn, NY during Steve's short one year time as a resident of New York City. Steve was in the commercial and public radio business for many years and during much of this time shot on a semi-pro basis.
