Growing up in a large city with a single Mom didn’t offer many opportunities to connect with animals. Despite all that, I had a deep love of all animals. Since I couldn’t have any pets I did the next best thing and started drawing and painting them from pictures. I really never felt my life was complete until I grew up and moved out of the city. It was then that I had dogs, cats, and horses of my very own. Life was complete, I had my animals and a husband that loved me and my animals.
I also used to train and show Quarter Horses and Paint Horses. I'm also a Professional Dog Trainer and used to be a Veterinary Technician. I love my life!
Digital is just a medium, and it is up to the artist to create the art.
Utilizing my computer, every painting is hand painted using a pen tablet and stylus. I have developed my own distinct and exceptional style of painting. With my camera, computer, palette, brushes, canvas and my Wacom tablet, my work brings fine art portraiture to everyone. I try to accomplish the impossible by creating an “exact likeness” of your loved ones. Preliminary editing is done in Adobe Photoshop and then is painted into a beautiful work of art using Corel Painter, and Pawsitive Pet Fine Art was born!
