Nature,people and animal have filled me with joy, wonder, and a desire to express the moment, emotion, or beauty of what I am seeings and try to capture the inner spirit, energy, grace of the subject.. My focus is mostly on the good in life and to try to bring a little bit more of happiness to the viewer.
Originally from Romania, I was brought up in NYC, attended Music and Art High School. and the Art Students League, but mostly self taught. Some of my favorite activities has been learning from viewing the great Masters in Museums and galleries around the world. My a passion for horses with their proud beauty led me to move to California, with the open spaces covered by bright skies. where I painted for a while in the studio of Guy Bernardo who was a wonderful artist that mentored many young artists and encouraged me to keep persuing my art.
I showed in many art shows, The Riverside County Museum, City Hall in Encinitas,CA, Palapas Art Garden,Palm Springs,CA, Polo clubs in Indio, and several art galleries including Santa Fe Ranch Gallery in Palm Desert, CA , Extreme Art in Delray Beach, Fl and Wellington City Hall with The Wellington Art Association.
My work is in many private collections throughout the US.
