I am a Southern California Native lived here all my life. Born in Santa Monica living in Ventura County for the passed 25 years
I have been creating things since I was very young Drawing & Painting as a child and creating things with wood. My Grandfather was a
carpenter. So when we would visit him he would let me work with his scrap wood. I would make cars & boats and little toys.
I tried my hands at many careers over the years but always came back to creating things & art. I have always Draw & Painted all my life
in 1976 I became a carpenter in 1977 I built some Furniture for a family member and have been Building Custom Furniture ever since.
I design and built my own lines of furniture that I sold to people all over the United States for many years.
All the while Drawing & Painting I took Art in High School it was fun that was my only training of any kind. I Surfed for about 20 years
during my youth Which Influence allot of my Art. I like doing Tropical & Surfing Art and lots of colors. I just Draw & Paint what I see in my mind and my hand just takes over and puts it on Canvas or Paper.
I have no favorite Medium I have done Pastels,Pencil, Colored Pencil, Watercolor, Acrylics & Oil over the years
I like Acrylics for my Landscapes and some Watercolors. Most of my Surfing Art is done in Pastels, My Pop Art is done in Colored Pencil.
My Landscapes are my favorite to paint. I see a picture or I imagine something in my Mind and put it on Canvas or Paper.
My Pop Art is what I do for Pure Fun I sketch them very lose and then color them in and outline them in Ink.
In the past 10 or so years I have been creating art daily in some form. Art is where I go to leave the rest of the world behind it is allot like
Surfing you go into a Zen State when you are doing it.
It is very Spiritual to me I hope you enjoy my Art as much as I did Creating it
