British born, Australian raised and now Canadian by choice. It was my passion for nature photography that brought the possibility of a permanent move to Canada a reality. The north west pacific abounds with treats and treasures for the photographer including my favorite subject of bears. We have the grizzly (brown), black and the unique and only found on the north coast of British Columbia, Canada, the spirit bear (kermode). Feels like heaven to me!
I became involved with photography when given my first SLR in 1996. Digital certainly escalated and encouraged me as I am not the patient type. I continue to use Nikon with a range of Nikkor lenses from wide, macro to telephoto.
I have been published by the Canadian Consulate, four front covers of directories and books and a children's game to be released shortly.
Recently I have downsized my day job to allow for more camera time and look forward to the summer and the thousands of images it will bring.
