Shutter Happens Photography Awarded Prominent Spot In 2013-14 Wisconsin DNR Calendar

Green Bay, WI - May 16th, 2013

Shutter Happens Photography announced today that it has been awarded a prize by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The honor landed a popular photograph by owner Mark David Zahn a prominent spot in the 2013-14 "Wisconsin’s Great Lakes!" calendar, to be published in June by the Wisconsin DNR. "Blustery Day at Anderson Barn," a dramatic photograph of one of the Door County peninsula’s famed landmarks, earned a second place prize in the “Cultural and Historic Features” category of a photography contest sponsored by the state agency. The photograph was chosen from a field of nearly 500 submissions highlighting the beauty and importance of Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. It is prominently displayed on the September 2014 page of the calendar.
