Creating art, capturing a moment of beauty and light, is my passion. Sharing it with others who feel my passion, is my wish. I paint what the viewer will understand, a memory of something you have seen, or a moment in time that will lighten your heart and touch your soul.
I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Pratt Institute in New York. It was not until 1990, after retiring to Florida, that I began to explore my love of art. My very first juried show in 1993 earned a second place award, and numerous awards and accolades have followed. I am represented in many private and public collections. My more recent work has been in watercolor and acrylic. I am a signature member of the Artist Guild of the Boca Museum of Art, and also the Palm Beach Watercolor Society. My paintings have hung at the Boca Museum in past Biennial Shows.
My paintings reflect my love of nature, light and form. I paint only subjects that deeply move me. I try to convey a mood. My greatest satisfaction is for the viewer of my work to feel a deep, emotional response.
