Imagine being so captivated by an art medium that you pause for what feels like forever in front of a clean white sheet of silk fabric, paralyzed by the thought of ruining it. Imagine having an idea, but not a fully-formed image in your mind, of what you would like to create. Then begin to draw. I am terrified and exhilarated at the same time.
