Janis Nussbaum Senungetuk is a visual artist and art business consultant in the Madison Wisconsin area. She specializes in floral photography using the natural light of the garden setting. Her images, filled with light and vibrant, translucent colors and textures, capture the beauty and sunshine of the garden and farmers market.
Her work has been honored by the City of Madison, Madison Arts Commission Signature Grant Award in 2007-2008 and by a solo exhibit in the Office of the Lt. Governor of Wisconsin, Wisconsin State Capitol, Madison, Wisconsin in 2009. Most recently, one of her images was selected for the Dane Arts 2023 calendar.
Janis very deeply believes that art aids in healing. She is a contributing photographer to The Foundation for Photo Art/Art in Hospitals. The Foundation places fine art photography in hospitals and healthcare centers throughout the world. Her work has also been included in the collections of the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, American Family Children's Hospital and the University of Wisconsin East Madison Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
