Born near Aarau, Switzerland in 1937, Hans Mauli worked in Aarau, Copenhagen, London, Paris and New York as a graphic designer and art director. While working for Herb Lubalin in New York in 1968, he designed the font that was created exclusively for use in the World Trade Center's signage. From 1971 to 1991 he worked as a professional photographer in Paris. Since moving to the US in 1991 he has turned to fine art photography. One of his prints, Window Dressing, Copenhagen 1960, was acquired by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in 1997. To see more...more
