When to Display Your Work?

November 3rd, 2013

Hi Everyone, The first thing, which is difficult with art, is trying to hold back your excitement as soon as a work is finished. I tend to rush to get it out in the public domain. I would love to know what you do. Occasionally however when I'm not...

This new art medium is out of this world! I have always stuck to oil painting or watercolor but after my first cautious attempts, I love it. The freedom it gives is amazing you can experiment to your heart’s content. This is my latest creation of a b...

First of all, you need to know where to find the tool, look along the top of GIMP to the filter menu then go down to distorts and on the right the 6th link down is the warp tool. You cannot, however, warp without something there to start with. Theref...

After obtaining a computer tablet, I decided to try to develop a new work of art. Not having worked on computer art before it was a steep learning experience. The picture shown was developed from an initial drawing completed in 1976 and added to the ...

At first, I created this piece and decided it was NOT worth adding to Fine Art America, but as time past, I had another look and totally change my opinion. The colours gave a fresh feeling and a feeling that spring was on its way. It just shows how w...

A preliminary picture is shown here before the final work was completed, so that you can see an abstract work in progress. This work began with no intention of completing an abstract it was started as a design for a Zazzle card background; however...
