I was artistic at an early age and began drawing as a child. I grew up on a Christmas tree farm in northern California and developed a love and appreciation for nature. I recall being so excited with the purchase of my first camera so I could take pictures of local wildlife including colorful wood ducks in the local creek. I took art classes in high school and college which helped develop my creative ability and unique artistic style.
