Hello, my name is Darlene Yvonne Bell. I'm from North Western Pennsylvania. I've been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. I've been selling paintings and doing commissioned artwork locally for many years. Some of my favorite things to do when I'm not painting are crafting, sewing, reading, flower and herb gardening,bird watching, hiking, walking with my Black Lab (Shadow) and being with my family. My favorite painting medium is oil, but I like to explore other art mediums as well. I spend a lot of time in Cook Forest State Park where my husband and I go to hike trails and photograph the beautiful landscape. The Clarion River runs through the park adding to the spectacular view which never fails to inspire me. I create art because it makes me happy. My wish is to capture and share through my paintings and photographs, the beauty that I see all around me, and to give others at least a moment or two of enjoyment.
