About the paintings..Like a bird on a wire...   I have tried in my way to be free.My work is imagined rather than observed.   It is expressive and colourful.   I create new images that speak with the past but are not recreations.   It is painting rather than 'Art' that interests me. it's all about the painting process, applying colour, using texture, making marks. the intereting surface.   The painting develops over time.   They may seem finished at one point but then later are reworked.   The work you see may have been several other...more
