I have had an interest in painting since early childhood; fascinated by watercolors and loving works of oil on canvas, especially seascapes. My beginnings as an artist were first with oils on canvas. For many, many years my camera was always near my side and ready to be used snapping a scene or image that would later be used as a basis for a future painting. My interest in photography is part of my desire to by an artist. While browsing through the images here just click on a thumbnail to enlarge and get a better view. Search the Limited Time promos, enter my name in the search box, to see what I am offering there.

After discovering this on-line print on demand site to offer prints of my paintings that required a better quality camera a whole new artistic opportunity was opened and I discovered that people actually like my photography which I enjoy so much.

In April of 2011 Curator John Quatrale of the Brighton-Allston Heritage Museum selected 15 of my photographs for the ReNew Exhibition of paintings, photographs and mixed media related to historic properties and preservation. A framed photo of Boston Swan Boats was purchased at that exhibit and then donated to the museum. It is now part of their permanent exhibits.

I also have a passionate interest in carousels and have traveled many miles just to add to more than 1000 images of these beautiful artistic creations. Visit the group HAPPINESS MACHINES OF CHILDHOOD here to see many more wonderful images of carousel and merry-go-rounds from around the work.

Please visit my website Rose Cottage Gallery for a more complete biography and current news and events on the NEWS page there.
