Having lost my husband of over 50 years I decided to try my hand at painting and so completely self taught and I only started when I was 72.
I have made many friends through my paintings which I have given away all over the world and mostly portraits but also had a try at views too. The ones of Johnny Depp are precious because having met him 6 times now he has signed quite a lot of my work and seemed pleased with them and I hope they are welcomed here as well.
I have met Robert Pattinson too who graciously signed my work for me and some friends in 2012 - both men are truly lovely persons. On 6 August 2014 I was present at the Q & A for 'The Rover' and was able to ask Robert to accept some of my paintings I had done of him with the animals from Water for Elephants and he did - along with Guy Pearce and David Michod the director who were most gracious towards me. I was lucky to attend a concert by FKA Twigs in Feb 2015 and by sheer chance I met her mother who took me back stage to meet the lovely talented Tahliah who accepted my paints of her and also signed one to let me keep - I am one very happy lady!
