My day job is a psychologist in private practice in North Vancouver, BC. I have worked with various media over the years but fell in love with painting with watercolours in 2008. I started with landscape and flowers, and in 2013 included painting wild animals. With the animal paintings I have found that I love the detail (I find it quite meditative) and the drama one can get in the painting. In 2017 I have begun experimenting with painting people. I am keen to see how I do!
I hope you enjoy my collection of paintings. I should note that many of the landscape and floral paintings are painted from photographs with the kind permission of the photographer and naturalist Frank Townsley who also has a site on FAA.
