Description
At the World War II Memorial there are two large pavilions, one marked Atlantic the other Pacific. These two pavilions are to honor the two military theaters of operation during the war. Each pavilion also has a large canopy structure called a baldacchino. Inside the baldacchinos there are four eagles, the symbol of the United States. These four eagles are holding a large wreath which is a symbol of victory. This image is a view looking straight up at the World War II Memorial Victory Wreath sculpture, a view a lot of people never see.
