About Sarah Quickel
Artist Sarah Quickel lived and worked most of her life in South Jersey and nearby Philadelphia. Her untimely death in 2022 remains a crushing loss to all who knew her. One comfort is that her artwork is left behind, some of which is included on this website. From an early age, it was clear that Sarah was going to be an artist. From kindergarten through college, she worked hard to hone her ability to convey meaning, purpose and beauty on paper. Sarah graduated with honors from Lafayette College with a BA in fine art. Sarah found inspiration in nature (flora, fauna, and the world around her), spirituality, food, seasonality and cycles, family and friends, forest therapy, self-worth, and humor and whimsy.
