Description

The black and white rendering of two bare trees with ice covered branches along the edge of the lower lake at City Park, Madisonville, Kentucky. A layer of ice and snow partially covers the surface of the lake after a week of snow and freezing rain storms. The lower portion of the foreground tree has mesh wire surrounding it due to local beavers that started felling trees along the shoreline a few years ago. The wire mesh has successfully deterred the beavers gnawing inclinations.
