Description
The reward for a long day of canyoneering above was to drop down into this main section of canyon. I arrived later than planned because deeper snow and ice slowed my descent greatly. This turned out to be serendipitous because the light reflecting down the tunnel was a luminous gold. I spent a lot of time here comping and enjoying the juxtaposition of warm light with the cold, icicles in the tunnel which meant I would have to hike out at night. A small price to pay for such an experience.
