Description
This was the third day of the plein air paint out. The weather was still ideal although maybe getting a bit too sunny and warm.
I arrived just after 8 am and planned to paint the view looking south along Highway 3 or the Outlet Road as it is known. The strong morning shadows stretched across the road. There was not much traffic. I enjoyed the challenge of including the advertising signage at the Outlet. There are lots of useful strategies to get the detail in plein air while keeping your colours clean. The details were not required but it was all about having fun.
