Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Born and raised in Frederick,MD Kate Fortin has always been involved with art in her community. As a member of Urbana High Schools art club she was always helping out with projects around the school. In 2002, three of her computer generated artworks were selected to be displayed at the Discovery Channel building in Washington DC for 1 year. Shortly thereafter she won the 2004 Annapolis Film Festival poster contest for another computer generated design, 'Movies & Life'. As she continued her education at Frederick Community College she explored different mediums to create art and had several works displayed at the Mary Condon Hodgson Gallery.
