Description
The 17th hole at Whistling Straits is nicknamed 'Pinched Nerve' and demands an accurate shot to the green. This challenging course ( the Straits Course ) is located alongside Lake Michigan. It's challenges include vast rolling greens, numerous massive bunkers and dunes as well as contending with the winds sweeping across from the lake. Hosted the PGA Championship in 2004 and 2010 and will do so again in 2015. Hosted the Senior US Open in 2007. Will also host the 2020 Ryder Cup.
