This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

You have just brought back such memories, as a young child my first dog was a Weimaraner. He was an amazing dog, my best friend, my constant companion, bred for us by my grandmother. I mostly remember his ears, the touch, the velvety smooth long ears that I would stick my face into. To this day I have yet to find a dogs ear that can compare! Beautiful work, you have captured the gentle and intelligent soul of this wonderful dog! l/f
