This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

About Cathy Pierce Payne
Born and raised in western Loudoun County, VA, Cathy grew up on and around farms. It is no surprise then, that the scenes that she depicts in her art are those that she is most familiar with: barns and rural life. These scenes are usually off the beaten path, and is another reason she enjoys them; they give the viewer a chance to see places they may not otherwise. Cathy has been engaging in some form of needlework since she was a teenager. While she still enjoyed that, she felt like she wanted to do more, and eventually began to paint. This gave her a new outlet to preserve the scenes she loves so much. She now specializes in pastels, but also works in acrylics, oils, and colored pencils. She also enjoys photography and photo...
