Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
When I worked as a journalist, I tried to make the message of my images simple and straightforward. Over the years, I've also come to appreciate situations where there is much to see and much to draw a viewer into the art. I found these folks waiting on West Pearl St. in Boulder, Colorado. A foot race was being run. These spectators waited patiently for the runners to return to the finish line.There were so many people: so many expressions; so many gestures! What do you see in this photo? Can you find "Happiness?" How long has Pasta Jay's restaurant existed in Boulder? Can you figure out who is attached to the shoe with the Air Jordan "Jumpman" logo?
