Photograph 2013 - This little newborn took shelter in my garden after just being born. Mama deer watched me as I took pictures from a distance at first, then left the baby in my care while she went to find food. What a beautiful site to see laying in my herbs - fresh and new to the world! Mama and baby are doing fine and wandering the neighborhood to graze for food.
