Description
Shot taken a few feet from the summit of Pikes Peak Mountain in Colorado. Also the filming location for "The Fast and The Furious 7" where the cars are dropped on the mountain. This road is also to home to the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb which is the second oldest auto race in the U.S. A 12.42 mile course with 156 turns ending at the 14110 foot summit of Pikes Peak. Contestants often hits speeds of 150 mph on these roads and make it to the top within 8 minutes. Takes me an hour and a half. Also playground to the city of Colorado Springs.
