Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
One of the best things about Lisbon's old town is the ancient trams trundling up and down the many hills and narrow winding streets, always packed to capacity and ringing their little bells to warn pedestrians of their approach. No visit to the Portuguese capital is complete without a trip on a Lisbon Tram. Pictured here are the twin trams of Elevador da Bica, probably the most picturesque of all the tram rides. I blended a selection of textures with my original photograph to achieve a more abstract double exposure style.
I'm a travel photographer and photo artist. I like to explore every nook and cranny of anywhere I visit and I'm always looking out for something unusual or unique, weird and wonderful, interesting and intriguing. For me, half the challenge is in the initial taking of the photo, the looking for something that catches my attention, getting that perfect composition, but the other half is in the processing, the tweaking and twisting and the addition of a little imagination to see how much detail I can bring to the surface and hopefully let the viewer see the same as I did when I took the shot. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
