Description
While taking a kayak trip for a workshop I was giving in Northern Maine, we came across this scene which you normally cannot access unless you are hiking. The water was extremely high after some extreme rainfall during the night.
I found a dry spot along the edge which allowed me to set up my equipment so I could capture the moment presented here. This is an HDR image with 5 exposures which really brings out the detail and beauty of this location.
I processed the images with photomatix then brought the image into photoshop where I began using textures that I created and many layers of blending different objects to give the image life.
