The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

View of the tunnel of the HERA collider at DESY, the German particle physics laboratory in Hamburg. HERA (Hadron-Electron Ring Accelerator) is a new type of accelerator which will collide 820 GeV protons (members of the hadron family of particles) with 30 GeV electrons. HERA is due to start operations in 1989-1990. The picture shows the beam pipe for electrons, which is encased in pink bending magnets & red focusing magnets. The proton beam pipe & magnet ring will be built on top of the electron ring. The electron & proton beams will intersect at 4 points around the 6.3 km long tunnel, where massive detectors will record the particle interactions. Photo taken Dec. 1987.
