Description
View from the top of Tugela Falls, the world's second highest waterfall (3,110 feet high) and the highest point in South Africa, which is also controversially believed to be the highest waterfall in the world.
Located in the Drakensberg Mountains, in the end of the Sentinel Peak trail, although dry in this period of the year, the spectacular view from the "Top of South Africa" is worth every moment of the preceding climb.
The Drakensberg Mountains of South Africa or Ukhahlamba is a 200-kilometre-long mountainous wonderland situated in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.
Named by the Zulu people as "The Dragon Mountain", they combine stunning natural beauty with a wealth of biological diversity. The park was declared World Heritage Site in December 2000.
