I loved the card. Message inside was perfect (just like I requested) Only comment - the picture seemed too large for the card (glue showing on the side) Next time I will down size the picture. I have ordered many cards from fineartamerica and have been very pleased with the artist selection and quality of the art. Paul Cutright

I thought the colors could have been a little brighter but I was happy with the product!
The Tricolored Heron (Egretta tricolor) is an uncommon and solitary heron, seen primarily in coastal marshes and swamps in the eastern United States. It was previously known as the Louisiana Heron. It may mingle with other species of heron and egrets. It forages actively for fish by dashing about in shallow water and spearing its prey. It is slim and graceful, has a long pointed bill, and a long slim neck. Its breeding plumage is spectacular, with its bright blue bill and lores, dark legs, dark purple breast, dark blue upperparts, and white belly. It is a relatively small-sized heron measuring about 26 inches in length and about 13 ounces in weight.
This Tricolored Heron in colorful breeding plumage with a fish in its bill was photographed at the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge in Virginia on 6-22-2015.

So beautiful Morris! I've never seen a tricolored in person...they are spectacular as is your capture!
Morris Finkelstein replied:
Thank you Fraida. I appreciate that you are following my work. I hope that you see a Tricolored Heron, but may have to plan some bird photography trips to the east coast. Looking in a source, I found that Tricolored Heron are seen 'rare but regular' on the coast of southern California, mostly in the winter. You might keep on eye on ebird reports in the San Diego area next winter..
