THREE DORIES is a digitally abstracted close up section of my original painting called THE BY THAT CATCHES THE FISH. Although I used photos of Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia as reference for my original painting, these typical East Coast fishing rowboats called dories can be found in Canadian maritime provinces like Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland. In United States northeast coast New England areas like Maine you will find these fishing skiffs in a safe harbor from the sea.
