"Thoughts at Midnight".Hartmut,that is such a wonderful introduction to this lovely reflective painting.The blues and purples,white lines,vases and shadows all combine in a beautiful and unusual harmony.The chimpanzee seems indeed to be lost in deep contemplation.I love this picture so much but just cannot find quite the words for the feeling!His expression is so soulful and appealing and magnetic.So happy I have met him in your exquisite night- time work.L/F
