I shot this old abandon farmhouse near Thomasville Georgia in the late spring of 2016. I pondered who may have lived here, and what cause them to move on. I thought of the fond memories that this old house must hold. Warm breakfast around the table before going off to work in the surrounding fields of peanuts. The laughter of children, singing and growing up. Parents growing old. The memories never move on, they remain for ever. I call this photo "They Moved On".

Wow, Marvin! What a find. I have recently started shooting old places like this but this is an absolute gem. Love the bit of vignetting you added. When you don't even see a road or drive to the house even makes it more interesting. Love the color and light. L/F
