Elwira Pioro was born in 1973 in Kielce, Poland.She now lives in Arlington Heights IL, where she mainly focuses on creating. Her passion for art began at a young age. As a child she was surrounded by art, dance and music but didn't start focusing on creating formal art until a few years ago. Early on her creativity came in the form of small charcoal sketches and watercolors, some of which where selected to be permanent fixtures in the school she attended. As a young adult she gained experience on both sides of the easel acting as a figure model and studio assistant for her Aunt, who is a very established fine artist in Germany, Russia and Poland.
