Loc is a small village in the canton of Valais
The Valais (Wallis in German) is a canton in southern Switzerland. It's home to the Matterhorn mountain, fashionable Alpine resorts and upper Rhone River valley vineyards. The upscale town of Zermatt, at the foot of the Matterhorn, offers world-class skiing and a wide range of other mountain sports year-round. It"s also an end point for the scenic Glacier Express train. With its unique and diverse landscape, the Valais is a land of contrasts: In the mountains majestic four-thousand-meter-high peaks and fascinating glaciers in the valley along the Rhone along with sprawling vineyards and unspoilt side valleys.
