This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
I've always been fascinated by the juxtaposition of organic and inorganic objects. To create the original "bones" of this series, I select images and then composite elements of them in photoshop. Typically, these digital collages can have forty or more layers. Once I have completed the collage, I print it out and do a black and white reverse transfer method onto Rives BFK. This gives a very grainy image which I draw and paint back into, creating layers of color and depth. The finished product is very intricate and I call them my "personal Rorschachs" because everyone sees something different and the finished piece is very different than what I started with.
