Description
Jovox -- an enormous Gas Giant that by means of the quirk of the substance Jovoxine has developed an entire floating biosphere of life in its outer atmosphere. Jovoxine is rare, its anti-gravitational properties valued above all other substances known to man. The colonists that now live on Jovox to harvest the Jovoxine find themselves caught between the lusts of a galaxy of worlds that want the resource they have so much in abundance, and the dangers of the wild cycles their environment, a world of life forms more numerous and more bizarre than can be imagined. A young colonial survey officer arrives on the Verrhawk, ready to quickly discover the reason for the recent distruptions that have occured in the colonies -- but unready for the fantastic world of danger (and beauty) into which he is about to descend. From my story "In Jovian Seas."
