The Turning Torso is a residential skyscraper in Malmo, Sweden.
It is the tallest building in Scandinavia and the first twisted skyscraper in the world, built in 2001-2005.
The Spanish architect and artist, Santiago Calatrava, designed the building, based on one of his sculptures called the Twisting Torso, a marble sculpture of a twisting human.
