Description
The town hall building in Szydowiec has been constructed between year 1602 and 1629,under Radziwi family ownership of the town. Its a great example of the late Renaissance architecture in Poland. Newly renovated looks now great. If you happen to visit this part of Poland just do not hesitate and go to this little renaissance town to see the hall, town market and cathedral church plus the castle with a great park. There are also nice little restaurants and cafes to spend a little more time. And just about 30 km from there you can visit Wchock, another amazing Polish historic town with a well preserved Cistercian monastery complex from 12th century and located there, still operating, Cistercian convent.
