Description
This is a wide angle view of the reflecting pool in front of the Memorial to General Douglas MacArthur in Norfolk, VA. The mayor of Norfolk, Virginia in 1960 proposed using funds raised by public contributions to remodel this old Norfolk couthouse as a memorial to General MacArthur and house his papers, decorations, and his many mementos. This black and white photo was taken with my Lecia M5 camera and a wide angle lens using Kodak 35mm Tri-X film, scanned with an Epson V600 photo scanner onto a digital file.
